When people ask me what I do, I often say, "I help people connect deeply with their spiritual source through sexuality and intimate relationship." In very practical ways, I help people move toward fulfilling intimate relationships and ecstatic lovemaking, which I describe as a whole-body experience of physical bliss, emotional intimacy and spiritual transcendence.

The first time someone asked me WHY I do what I do, the answer that surprised me, as it popped out of my mouth, was: "I can't help it!" But it's so true. I'm totally clear that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, though it's an ongoing challenge as well as an adventure. It's a challenge because, although Extatica was inspired by personal experience and enhanced by graduate coursework and research, it's an ongoing journey that continually requires me to explore my own sexuality and spirituality, including the dark recesses of my soul, very deeply. This exploration is very personal and, at the same time, profoundly universal.

My story is basically this: since 1991, I have been using vibrational frequencies, including sound, colored light and subtle energy to help clients release sexual and relationship trauma. After several years of this work and while I was in the middle of my masters degree program in East-West Psychology, I suddenly began having dramatic and spontaneous encounters with sexual-spiritual ecstasy—so dramatic that I became a research subject in the study by Dr. Jenny Wade resulting in her book, Transcendent Sex: When Lovemaking Opens the Veil. My first impulse was to want to help others experience this expansive new realm I was discovering.

This lead me on a mission to understand what it is that leads to truly ecstatic lovemaking (which I define as profoundly and deeply fulfilling, sexually, emotionally and spiritually) so I can help people access it on a consistent basis. To this end, I’ve spent years researching ancient sacred lovemaking traditions, contemporary transpersonal and relationship psychology, and cutting-edge modern sex research.

I then began integrating and translating this information to reach modern mainstream lovers. I incorporate vibrational tools into my workshops and practical, easy-to-use media products to help individuals and couples dramatically enhance their love lives easily and rapidly.

My larger mission is to help heal the pervasive cultural “wound” that typically splits our sexuality and our spiritual lives. I believe an open heart is the key to deeply fulfilling sexuality and spirituality, and is thus the bridge that heals this split. My dream is to help us all cultivate the powerful energies of sexuality and an undefended heart so we can fully experience our divine nature in all of life.

I maintain a private practice in Marin County, CA, working with individuals and couples on sexual healing, emotional intimacy and sexual-spiritual awakening (Private Sessions).
