Common Myths about Multiple Orgasm
(Page 2)

Satisfied man in a hammockIn other words, the nerves, the neural pathways, etc. are mostly the same in men and women - so it makes sense that we should have similar orgasmic (including multi-orgasmic) capacity.

Note that by the eighth week, most of the Central Nervous System ("CNS") is already developed, while testosterone secretion only begins at that time, and the more specific gender characteristics do not begin to become evident until several weeks later.

Orgasm (as distinct from ejaculation) is, in both men and women, primarily an experience of spontaneous rushes of pure energy, because the CNS is the body's primary conduit ("wiring system") for conveying this energy throughout the body and appears to be quite similar between genders. It then follows that:

Orgasmic capacity, including multi-orgasmic capacity, may be far more similar between men and women than we have been led to believe.

Also notice that when Doc- referred to arousal, that is, the body's automatic response to erotic stimulation, he stated that people along the full spectrum of gender experience arousal via a peripheral-to-central-to-peripheral nervous system feedback loop.

Thus, for women to learn to enjoy multiple orgasms without the feeling of having to "reach" for their orgasms, and for men to learn to enjoy multiple orgasms without requiring ejaculation control or ejaculation blocking methods, the secret is to learn to boost arousal to multi-orgasmic levels by capitalizing on this "peripheral-to-central-to-peripheral nervous system feedback loop" of arousal to which Doc- refers.

ORGASMIC SECRET#2:
The surprising breakthrough is that these multi-orgasmic high levels of arousal are best learned by using surprisingly little (in fact, in the beginning, almost no) stimulation!

FACT #3:
Orgasm is only indirectly a function of stimulation (a consciously initiated activity). Orgasm is primarily the result of arousal ("arousal" being an automatic response to stimulation).

When we realize this fact, we can begin to identify and distinguish between the activities which "set the stage" for triggering the male ejaculation reflex versus those activities that this author has determined will consistently trigger the spontaneous rushes of intense pleasure (i.e., the multiple orgasm reflex, as distinct from the ejaculation reflex) in both men and women.

Activities leading to triggering ejaculation

Patterns typically learned from childhood

  • Mostly continuous, often vigorous stimulation
  • Tendency toward rapid shallow breathing
  • Tension from this breathing pattern tending to accumulate in the upper chest
  • Amplification of experience by more stimulation
  • Frequent inclusion of erotic fantasy, often felt necessary to go "all the way" to ejaculation
  • Belief that erection is necessary for orgasm
  • Tendency to hold breath as the so-called "Point of no return" approaches
  • Muscular tension, especially in the legs

Activities leading to triggering multiple orgasm without requiring ejaculation control methods

While learning how to open to multiple orgasms

  • Almost no stimulation, only enough to produce even the slightest automatic pleasurable response to the erotic touch or caress
  • Breathing is slow with emphasis on complete relaxation
  • Learning to amplify this automatic response (a recently discovered method that effects this consistently by using a specific sound + breathing technique is known as the "Multiple Orgasm Trigger™")

Characteristics of male orgasm with ejaculation
  • Orgasm occurs nearly simultaneously with ejaculation (although it may often occur a little after emission of semen begins, hence the insufficiency of the so-called "withdrawal technique" as a birth control method)
  • Ejaculation occurs after activity begins, on an average of anywhere from a minute or less (in cases of Premature Ejaculation) to approximately 20 minutes, plus or minus
  • Most men experience a "refractory" period after the orgasm accompanied by ejaculation, during which they have no, or only minimal, ability to experience erotic response including erection and ejaculation for on average 15 to 30 minutes or more, depending on many factors, including male hormone levels.
  • Men frequently report feelings of "emptiness" and/or a sense of minimal to less-than-complete erotic satisfaction
  • These feelings may tend to reinforce feelings of sexual insufficiency, chronic dissatisfaction, and resentment towards women due to their multi-orgasmic capacity

Characteristics of male multiple orgasm without ejaculation
  • Orgasms occur completely independent of ejaculation, while orgasms that do occur with ejaculation are consistently reported as being more intense and more deeply satisfying than prior to learning this process
  • Orgasms may continue for hours, energy and choice permitting, yet may still be followed by orgasm accompanied by ejaculation with the new levels of satisfaction as noted above
  • Multiple orgasms continue virtually indefinitely with no refractory period, since no ejaculation has (yet) occurred, until chosen

Even when a man takes a "rest break" during this multi-orgasmic experience (as long as ejaculation has not occurred yet), he tends to remain highly responsive, and orgasms may continue by simply choosing to have more, at times even without further stimulation.

FACT #4:
The most fundamental difference between "stimulation" and "arousal" is that stimulation is usually a conscious act, where as arousal is the automatic response to stimulation.

The Multiple Orgasm Trigger™ method takes full account of these ACTUAL distinctions, and teaches both men and women how to train themselves to open completely to full-body, continuous-wave multiple orgasms that may continue for as long as they want and which, rather than leaving them feeling depleted, frustrated, and isolated, result in their feeling energized and connected with their deep selves and their partner.

He developed a clinical method using dreams and visualizations, based on a synthesis of Ericksonian hypnotherapy and shamanic traditions for healing nightmares, traumatic memories, and for personal growth, and he taught this process to clinicians and the public throughout the US and Canada. His personal experience with this method led to his discovery of the Key Sound Method and how it could identify and amplify the erotic response.
