Ted is the founder & managing member of CFO Plus, LLC. He brings to Extatica 30+ years of experience covering a wide range of business, financial and entrepreneurial accomplishments.
For the past 8 years, as founder of CFO Plus, Ted directs a consulting firm providing CFO type services on an “as needed” basis to emerging companies involved in software development, software publishing, hardware technology, new media, advertising, printing, construction, fixture manufacturing, small business coaching & training, eCommerce, and Internet based businesses. The firm focuses on the small to medium-sized businesses (from start-ups to public entities) providing services in the areas of business improvement, business restructuring, performance measurement techniques, financial and strategic planning, accounting and risk management.
Prior to forming CFO Plus, Ted served in three key financial roles as the Director of Financial & Strategic Planning, Corporate Controller and Treasurer with Mindscape, Inc., a multi-national publicly traded consumer software publisher. He joined Mindscape in 1988 as a result of the acquisition of DataSoft, a computer entertainment software company that he acquired in 1985 from the Gillette Company. He joined DataSoft in 1983 as its CFO.
Ted's previous experience includes building a successful financial management practice servicing high income individuals in the entertainment industry, serving as VP of Finance and Administration for an energy service business and as a senior accountant with Deloitte & Touche during which time he earned his California CPA Certificate.
He received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
